Premio Internacional de Ensayo Caballero Bonald
Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa won the 2009 Premio Internacional de Ensayo Caballero Bonald for his essay "El viaje a la ficción", where he analyses the life and work of Juan Carlos Onetti.
