Argentine director Daniel Burman, will open the Panorama section of the Berlinale with the film 'Derecho de familia' (Family Law), that will start February 9.
Burman, a director of only 31 years gained two Silver Bears in 2004 for 'El abrazo partido'.
The Uruguayan Daniel Hendler, who also won the award for better actor in Berlin by 'El abrazo partido', carries out 'Derecho de familia', a dramatic comedy produced by Argentina, Italy, France and Spain. The film casts also Julieta Díaz, Andriana Aizenberg, Arturo Goetz y Damian Dreizik.
The Brazilian 'Casa de Areia' (Sand House), by Andrucha Waddington, with Fernanda Towers, Fernanda Montenegro, Seu Jorge and Ruy War, will also compete for the prize of the public of the Panorama section, second in importance of the Berlinale.
